Closing an assessment
Learn how to close a Question-Based Assessment (QBA)
You can close a Question-Based Assessment (QBA) when you are done reviewing it, actioning related tasks, and reporting on it. The Closed status preserves the assessment in a read-only state for auditing purposes.
If you close a completed QBA, it can be reopened if needed. Reopening a closed QBA preserves existing submitted answers as previous versions.
If you close a QBA that is currently in progress, it will be cancelled. Any partial responses that are not yet submitted will be lost when the assessment is cancelled.
Once you have reviewed the results of a QBA, you can update the status of the assessment to:
- Reviewed - For an assessment that has been reviewed and issues and risks have been assigned
- Closed - For an assessment that has issues and risks actioned and finalized
Go to Audits & assessments and click on the Completed assessment that you want to close. You can check the Status of your assessments using the corresponding column or tab.
Change the Status using the dropdown as required.
When updating an assessment to Closed, you can provide reasons as to why you are closing the assessment.
The reasons can be accessed by clicking on the Status dropdown.
