Learn how to connect 6clicks with your current implementation of Microsoft Defender for Cloud's Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) to automatically test your controls
This integration works to connect your already established Microsoft Defender for Cloud CSPM (Cloud Security Posture Management) implementation with 6clicks to automate your continuous control monitoring (CCM) by harnessing surveillance features and real-time alerts from CSPM. Before contacting support, please contact your customer support manager or your account manager for further details if you are using CSPM and you wish to enable this integration in 6clicks.
Connecting from 6clicks
Log in to your 6clicks account and navigate to:
Administration>Integrations> Microsoft Defender for Cloud> Connect
A Data & Privacy window will pop up, click on Continue.
You will then be redirected to Microsoft online to sign in with your Microsoft Defender for Cloud username and password.
After you enter your login details, you will be informed about the access required by the 6clicks app, click on Accept.
If you have entered incorrect credentials or decide not to Accept those conditions and click on Cancel you will then be presented with the following error:
If you click on Accept and have successfully set up the connection, you can then modify the connection settings from the Integrations window:
- Disable Microsoft Defender for Cloud by using the toggle after you have read the warning and confirmed by hitting Disable.
- Alternatively, you can Disconnect after reading and confirming the warning.
